The Toronto West Area is pleased to be able to offer it's students two levels of our course; our Basic Skills Course (CLC1), and an advanced course in Communication and Leadership Skills (CLC2), which is offered to those individuals who have successful completed the basic skills course.
Each level of the course offers the student the ability to apply what they learn in class, and then build upon their new skillset.
Our basic skills course in an eleven week program designed to develop confidence within our students, and teach them the fundemental skills needed to deliver an effective speaking assignment. In addition, students are introduced to various leadership skills which they are encouraged to take away with them once the class has been completed, and use in everyday life.
Our advanced class is an eight week course, which is a natural extension of CLC1. Students once again build upon their prior skillset and introduce a new element, multimedia. By incorporating various methods of communication into their presentations they continue their growth process, and further develop their confidence in front of an audience.
